Specialty classes should be called personal classes. They teach you exactly what you want to know. In many cases, dives you’ve made for previous classes can qualify toward your new specialty.
Academic
You’ll learn the principles of the specialty.
Confined Water
In some classes you’ll practice the skills you will use later on.
Open Water
You’ll master the specific skills that are necessary for your specialty.
PADI eLearning
Take the academic portion of select courses online through PADI’s online interactive programs and then finish your inwater and practical elements with Dive Utah. PADI eLearning is available for the Scuba Tune-up, Enriched Air and Diver Digital Underwater Photographer classes.

Schedule
Specialty Classes may require a class and pool session and at least 1-3 open water session that takes place at a local lake, hot spring or a Dive Utah sponsored trip. Please call the shop closest to you or use the “Sign up Now” to get started scheduling your class.
