At Dive Utah we offer a variety of dive classes from Discover Scuba to Instructor. Explore our website to see the wide range of classes that we offer.
At Dive Utah you not only learn to dive but you also get to take advantage of the many benefits we have set up for our students. We know you have a choice when you look for a scuba class, these are just some of the added benefits you receive when you choose us.
Small Classes, Flexible Schedules
With classes starting every week and sometimes twice a week, we’re able to keep class sizes small. At some dive shops eight people in a class might be the average … that’s considered large at Dive Utah. We try to average four to six students per class. Plus, with so many classes always running, we can use our Schedule Calendar to put together your own custom class schedule. If you need even more flexibility, day or weekend classes, ask about our Semi-Private or Private classes. Our schedule is flexible. You’re sure to find a class time to fit your needs.
Personal Trip Training
Most of our students are learning to dive because of an upcoming trip. Tell us when and where you are going and we’ll provide you with a list of local dive shops and the “Don’t Miss These” dive sites. Some places have conditions or dives that require a little more knowledge, we’ll teach you these before you go so you can enjoy your dives better.
Pool
Our pool is the largest dedicated dive pool in the state. (60 feet long, 30 feet wide, 12 feet deep) We keep it at a very comfortable 86° F. The locker rooms are clean and spacious with private showers.
Off the Wall and into the Pool
We have an open door policy for trying out new equipment. You’re welcome to try any piece of equipment you’d like in the pool. Even if you’re not planning on purchasing anything, becoming familiar with different equipment will make you a better diver.
Dive Utah Alumni Association
Once you graduate from the class, you’re considered alumni. You can come back to Dive Utah anytime, grab some gear and jump in the pool to play and practice for free. The more times you play and practice the better diver you’ll become.
